Snowmobiling is our biggest winter sport with over 600 miles of groomed trails and endless ungroomed trails. Several Hill Climbing contests are put on over the winter. Several Guest Ranches offer snowmobiling right from the front door!

Snowshoeing on groomed trails Skiing and Snowboarding brings an honest challenge at Pebble Creek Ski Area. A new Terrain Park is popular with snowboarders. Wild ducks spend the winter on naturally warmed waters. Hundreds of miles of groomed trails for Cross Country Skiing or Nordic Skiing are found at Soda Springs, Bear Lake, Lava Hot Springs and on Scout Mountain south of Pocatello.
